Pillar
The receipt archive.
Every trip we cost gets kept: the full receipt, every line dated and sourced at the time it was verified. It's a record of what travel actually cost, not a brochure estimate that quietly expires.
The receipt model
A receipt is the atom of this site. Each one itemises a single trip to the line: flights, accommodation, food and drink, activities, and local transport, every figure dated and sourced. Each line carries its one real price at the time it was checked. Nothing is rounded up, nothing is averaged into a vague daily figure. The headline you see is the sum of lines you can check.
- Every line item: flights, stay, food and drink, activities, local transport.
- The date each price was verified, kept with the line.
- The source behind each number: airline, hotel, or operator.
- One real total, itemised to the line.
Verified receipts
These are itemised from a real booking search and written up in full. Open the receipt for the at-a-glance breakdown, or the guide for the line-by-line reasoning.

New receipts ship first in the weekly drop, then land here as a permanent, dated record. Sample destinations on the destinations page are labelled as such until a verified booking search replaces them.
